TCT Circular saw baldes are designed as general cross cut blades,suitable for cross cutting softwwod,hardwood, plywood, chipboard, multi-board, panels, MDF,plated&counted-plated panels, laminated&Bi-laminate plastic and FRP. Providing a high degree of finish edge. The blades also can rip cut along the grain.
What is a TCT Blade?
All saw blades are designed for specific types of cut. The kerf - or width of the teeth - will dictate how clean the cut is. However the number of teeth on the blade also plays a part in this; fewer teeth for faster, rougher cuts. Because the material you're cutting is the biggest factor in deciding the type of saw blade you need. Wood, non-ferrous metals and plastics, require blades designed for these specific materials.
Tungsten Carbide Tips
TCT saw blades are specifically designed for cutting metal tubing, pipes, rails, nickel, zirconium, cobalt and titanium-based metal. All of this is possible thanks to the teeth on the saw blades, and the tungsten carbide tips, or TCT.
It's this coating of tungsten carbide that gives the saw blades the ability to easily cut through metals, while at the same time ensuring the blades last a long time.
